The famous ROA Alligator mural that he painted in 2011 is at the end of this block. Had lunch here out of necessity as i was only in Atlanta on a 5 hour flight layover. Food was fast, authentic and plentiful. I’d go back for sure and hey! They have a hip bar in there too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tyde Tate Kitchen is, without a doubt, the best Thai restaurant we've ever been to! We absolutely love Thai food and have tried many Thai restaurants all over Georgia, but this place is on another level. Parking can be a little challenging, but we got lucky and found a spot right in front of the restaurant, so don't let that discourage you. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. The portions are fair, but the quality, freshness, and incredible flavors are what really make this place special. Everything tasted authentic and was perfectly seasoned. I ordered the vegetable fried rice with Thai spice, and it was 🔥🥵—exactly the kind of heat I was looking for! A big thank you to Brian for preparing our meal. You can tell he takes pride in what he does because everything was absolutely delicious. We left impressed and already can't wait for our next visit. If you're looking for amazing Thai food, Tyde Tate Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Best Thai food downtown. This place is amazing. Casual Thai café with amazing cocktails and fast service. The papaya salad was so great and properly spicy. We also had the red curry beef and it was amazing. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Such a gem and an asset to South Downtown. Also, you can walk around outside with your drinks in this area. So cool.

Had the Thai fried rice (Thai spicy,) and the shrimp rolls; enjoyed them both. Excellent customer service from the younger hard working gentleman wearing the GSU cap. Thank you! Clean, friendly, and modern atmosphere. Will definitely return to try more from the menu after this positive experience.

I really enjoyed this meal! I got the Pad Thai with Shrimp, Curry Bites, and Thai Tea. I added "medium" spice to the Pad Thai and as a spice lover, I regret not bumping it up to "hot" or "Thai hot" but the flavor was fantastic. The Curry bites were also aromatic and delicious. And the staff was also incredibly kind and helpful, not to mention quick!
